Getting Started

When I start counseling with a new individual or family, I generally like to have what I call an Intake Session first - a meeting with you or just parents to allow us to chat, for me to get some background information, and to make sure we're a good fit for one another. If we are, we can start to formulate a plan for your family at this appointment. If we decide we are not a good fit, I will be happy to provide you with some referrals to other therapists in the area.

In order to best serve you, I ask that you fill out the forms and either email or fax them to me prior to your appointment. If you have chosen virtual sessions, you will receive an appointment email with a link to your session.
*Please make sure you have a strong internet connection and a quiet, private space for your virtual sessions*

Once an initial appointment is scheduled, you will receive a Good Faith Estimate for the anticipated cost of services for the year as part of the No Surprises Act that went into effect on January 1, 2022. This form will need to be signed and dated in order to receive services from Hope's Road. These fees are also outlined in the Policies and Consent Form.
